Risk Analysis Designer


Nowadays, risk evaluations of large embedded systems is a noteworthy activity in a global engineering process. It should actually interoperate with the system design and produce a large amount of coherent documentation. In order to alleviate this problems, the key idea of this work is to combine safety and design viewpoints.

This safety viewpoint allows safety engineers to describe :

  • Preliminary Hazard analyses
  • Fault tree analyses

Those analyses interoperate with SysML models.

The language can be configured with a library to target several safety certification standards:

  • ISO26262 for automotive
  • DO178C for aerospatial
  • EN 50126, EN 50128, EN 50129 for train
  • etc.

This module is composed of several diagrams:

  • Tabular PHA
  • Graphical PHA
  • Graphical PHA with SysML
  • Fault Tree
  • Tolerable Rate analysis layer
  • SIL analysis layer
  • Impacts analysis
  • Safety libraries

You can also generates safety validation check by creating your generators to Altarica or XFTA.
